Thanks. She certainly does look beautiful. Apparently, the FIFI awards have to do with the fragrance industry (perfumes).

I'm in total agreement. Maybe her birth certificate says 2/28/48, but it looks more like 2/28/68!!! I hope my skin holds up like that!! I rarely go out in the sun for long lengths of time, because I don't want to have leathery, wrinkled skin at 40....and I don't want sunspots when I'm old. Besides, I couldn't tan if my life depended on it, so what's the use?
I'm sorry, but no amount of botox or plastic surgery could make you look that good! That has to be all natural. Living about 20 minutes outside of LA, and working in Orange County, I see enough plastics on a daily basis to know.

Guerlain is my very favourite. They produce Champs Elysees, the only perfume I wear. It's a very soft scent, and it's heavenly. =) It's not easy to find Guerlain, I have to drive to LA or Hollywood, to find their store.

I came across this (trashy) blog. If you read the comments that were left, it's pretty amusing how blown away everyone was by Bernadette's gorgeousness & classiness vis-a-vis the other attendees. Also, no one could believe her age.

Thanks for the link!!! SO TRUE!!! It seems as though she's found the cup of everlasting youth!! I hope I can look that good in... years. I'm very protective of my skin, so hopefully it will eventually pay off!

She looks almost as young as Zac Posen and I think he's in his twenties. I think she must have cloned herself or something, it's unreal how she can look that good still. But then again, when she was in her 40's she looked about 16. Whatever she's doin' she should bottle it up and sell it or something. I'd buy it!

If you take a good look at her ""La Dame aux Camélias" scene in The Last Best Year - you will see that she's wearing no (or very little) make-up and looks about 14 years old. I think she was in her early 40's at the time.
Take a look at your mum and grandma and see how your skin will be when you're older. You can be as careful as you like about keeping your skin out of the sun but it's really genes that count in the end.

That's true it's probably largely genetics, I saw a picture of her sister taken recently, and she looks very young too. So that and staying out of the sun and eating right and all the other stuff she does right is why she looks like she does.
